The Klain team worked closely with the National Academy of Music “Gheorghe Dima” in Cluj-Napoca to build a modern website, adapted to the needs of the institution. The process started with a detailed analysis phase, where we identified the functional requirements and evaluated the structure of the old website.

Project details
Based on this information, we proposed a new content architecture and developed a wireframe that formed the basis of three design proposals. The final version, selected by the client, is the one presented online.
The website of the National Academy of Music “Gheorghe Dima” (ANMGD) has an open and well-structured layout, which focuses on the institution’s essential information: Admission, Events and News.
The main section (hero banner) across the width of the page, combined with clear typography, conveys from the outset the academic character that visitors explore the site. The navigation bar has been organized logically and simply, providing quick access to faculties, documents, student life and international programs without unnecessary visual elements.
The content has been divided into clear sections: event listings with date bookmarks, a neatly structured “News” area, an easy-to-navigate calendar for upcoming activities, quick navigation sections and page content.
White spaces are used effectively, keeping the focus on relevant headlines and links, while the visual hierarchy ensures smooth navigation and the footer complements the experience with useful links, legal information and access to social networks.
Overall, the design aim is to combine institutional formality with a modern web experience: legible typography, intuitive menus and a flow that supports both prospective students and existing users, and the site manages to provide clarity, accessibility and professionalism.
