The magic formula to write a relevant text/article has not yet been discovered, but there are certain tricks that we can use when making content. In this article I will briefly talk about keywords and what they are used for, about titles and H’s, lists, links, forms, messages, forms, audio and video. There are quite a few points that I want to debate, and which are also important, but I also want to give some advice related to them. I’ll start the article with the first two important points when we want to write relevant content.
-
Keywords
Probably everyone who works in this industry has heard of the word keywords at least once. These are important from several points of view. First of all, for scanning content by both reader and search engines. Keywords help the user find our article/text among thousands of other texts on the internet. Second, they are important for SEO.
Now, it all depends on the type of content we write. If we write an article for SEO then we will use certain specific keywords that we must insert into the text in such a way that our reader does not notice, and if we also have a link on it, they tend to click on their own initiative.
When we write a regular article or don’t want to climb a specific page/site, then the keywords are based on our text and what we think users are looking for. These, as a rule, we pass in the specific keyword box, but also in the installed SEO plugin (if there is one).
Keywords are even used in places other than the actual text. Thus, we can find these words in article titles, page titles, subtitles and on links.

Titles and H’s
When I say H, I mean headings. I mean, it’s all kind of titles, but they differ a bit from what we know as titles. If I got you a little confused, I’ll explain below what I meant ![]()
Titles are very important for content, especially when we write an article. If the headline isn’t appealing, the chances of someone clicking through and reading what we’ve written are pretty slim. The title should reflect what is written in the content and not be a lie just to attract readers. We often see false headlines in cancan magazines or on sites that look for the sensational. Personally, I am totally against these practices and I find it unethical.
Headings are different from article titles. These are the ones that delimit certain parts of a text. Normally we can look at them as subtitles, but if we want to speak in the language of specialists, we have to call them H’s. These can be set from the online text editor, and depending on the number we choose (there are H1, H2,…, H6) the selected text will have a certain size. We have already talked about the importance of segmenting a text in the article Characteristics of good content.
There are certain rules to follow in the case of titles and H’s. So, they must be:
- Short
- Concise
- Simple
- Factual
- No acronyms
- No whole sentences
- Uppercase at the beginning (sentace case)
+ can contain keywords
In the next parts of this article I will talk about lists and links. I will explain how and why they are used and give some rules.
