Making a custom website doesn’t just mean beautiful design or attractive texts. At Klain, we treat each project as a partnership and follow a clear process, built on collaboration, communication and real results. Thus, the development of a custom website follows a series of stages, which require both our involvement and that of the client.
-
Discovery – we understand your needs and goals
It all starts with a discussion. We find out who the customer is, what the company does and what objectives it has in the digital environment. We analyze the market, the competition and the target audience. Based on this information, we build the architecture of the site, define the pages, their structure, establishing the functionalities in parallel. The client is involved in the validation of the general direction and provides us with the essential insights about the business.
This step is essential in successfully completing the next steps of making the site. Architecture and structure influence both the content and the design and implementation. Its complete construction, as well as its confirmation with the client, facilitates the development of the next steps without problems or major changes, which can delay the completion deadline.
-
Content collection – we collect logo, images, video, text
At this stage, we collect the texts and visuals necessary for the website. The logo, photos, graphics, videos and texts are provided by the client. If these are missing or are not sufficient for the creation of the website, we organize photo-video sessions or, alternatively, we use stock visuals.
It is essential that this stage is considered distinct, since its fulfillment is fundamental for the next two stages, of making the design and the web content. In the absence of these materials, there will be an incompleteness of the site that may affect its launch.
-
Web design – we bring ideas into visual form
Starting from architecture and structure, we move on to design. It is made in line with brand directions and provides an intuitive browsing experience to users. The focus is on both the aesthetic and the functional element.
After the design for key pages (such as Home and About Us), it is presented to the client. Only after the feedback received and approval, we move on to the design of the other pages. The client can request a new design variant for the main pages, made at no additional cost.
-
Web content – we design the texts for the website
The texts of the site can be provided by the client or written by our team, based on the information received. Their dimensions respect the structure directions (regarding the typology and number of characters). In their design, we ensure that the messages are clear, tailored to the customer’s needs, and easy to understand for visitors. The client is involved to validate the texts and propose adjustments.
An essential aspect in the creation of the content is to follow the indications in the structure. The number of characters/words is not a suggestion, but a necessity. In case of ignoring it, the design can be affected, because it was made based on the specifications in the structure.
-
Development – we build the website itself
Our technical team turns the approved design into a functional website. At this stage we develop all the functionalities and prepare a test version (MVP) to show how the site will look and work. The client validates this version before we move on to the next step.
In this test version, it is possible that not all of the content (both textual and visual) will be present on the website, but a significant part of it will be uploaded to make it easier for the customer to evaluate it. Following the approval by the client, the full population of the site will be carried out, as well as the development of all functionalities.
-
Integrations & Automations – we connect the site with the essential platforms
In order for the site to be not only functional, but also operationally efficient, at this stage we integrate with the platforms that the client needs. From CRMs for lead management, to online payment systems, we ensure that the website communicates fluently with the digital ecosystem of the business.
This also includes automations designed to optimize user interaction: connecting with email marketing platforms, installing chat systems or connecting with analytics tools. The goal is clear – we create a consistent and efficient experience for both the customer and the end user.
-
Add content – we populate the site with information
After the MVP is approved, we start uploading the texts, images, and the rest of the content. We make sure that everything is aligned with the structure, design and established needs. The client may make final comments on the published content, but these concern changes in line with the structure and design already approved.
-
Testing (QA) – we check everything before launch
The site is tested by our team, but also by the client. We check the functionalities, mobile design, forms and tracking codes (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.). Only after everything is okay do we move on to the next step.
Testing is a fundamental stage in the creation of the site and is in most cases the last stage in which changes can be made to the site before its actual launch. That is why it is important to allocate the necessary time for its completion.
-
Transfer and handover – we put the website live
After testing, the site is transferred to the client’s server. Over the next few days, we’re providing technical support for any release-related adjustments. At the end, the client receives a handover-receipt report that marks the official conclusion of the project.
-
Site maintenance – post-implementation
After launching, we can stay with the customer, offering maintenance services so that the site remains in optimal parameters. Maintenance includes, among other things: regular technical updates (platform, modules, extensions), security measures to protect data, quick interventions for minor corrections or prevention of problems.
Our goal is thus to keep the website functional, secure and up-to-date, without worries for the customer.
Conclusion
At Klain, a personalized website does not just mean “an online presence”, but a digital solution built together with you. Each stage is transparent, collaborative and results-oriented. If you want a site that reflects exactly who you are and what you offer, schedule a discussion with us.
