- Let’s start with the basics. What position do you have within the Klain team and how long have you been with us?
I’ve been with you for 9 years. I’m the photographer of the Klain agency, the person who “plays with light”. - How did your adventure with the Klain team begin?
In 2014 – we had a common client: the restaurant La Bucovina – there I met Valentin and started collaborating with the Klain agency. - How do you stay up to date with new trends and technologies in the field?
In the field of photography, technology and trends are changing very quickly – there are online platforms where I find my inspiration and physically participate in conferences related to the field of photography. - How has your vision of digital marketing evolved over the years and how have you adapted to changes in the industry?
Evolving in photography and adapting to changes in digital marketing involves a combination of continuous learning, flexibility, and responsiveness to the changing needs and requirements of the industry and target audience. - Tell us about an experience where you worked closely with other departments to successfully implement a campaign.
I had many pleasant experiences with colleagues from Klain. The last one was extremely intense – I photographed for the Sports Factory. Larisa took care of the organization of this project in detail and I understood how important the workflow is. - How do you approach defining and measuring the success of a marketing campaign? What are your key metrics?
Depending on the specific objectives of the campaign, appropriate metrics are chosen to measure success. It is important to have a clear performance evaluation strategy to understand how effective the photos created in the context of marketing are. The most important aspect for me is visual engagement – high-quality photos can generate stronger engagement from your audience. - What’s the most surprising and unexpected thing you’ve learned in your career so far?
Continuous learning, teamwork and patience. - How do you prioritize and manage your tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment like digital marketing?
Successfully managing tasks in digital marketing as a photographer requires a combination of organization, planning, adaptability, and continuous development. - What are your favorite methods to maintain your creativity?
Creativity in photography is a continuous and personal process. With patience and openness to new experiences, I can maintain my passion and inspiration in this field. My methods refer to: exploring new places, making personal projects, learning from others, participating in courses and workshops, experimenting with new technology and techniques, keeping a visual diary, getting out of the comfort zone, rest and relaxation. - What is the campaign or project you are most proud of and why?
One of the projects dear to me took place last year, when my colleagues from Klain created a campaign for Milk Shake Romania, where I held a photography workshop for stylists in the field. - What do you think will be the future of digital marketing and what elements will be essential?
In my opinion, the future lies here: artificial intelligence and process automation. - How do you like to spend time outside of work and how do these activities influence your vision of marketing?
Time is precious and I find myself here: “It’s not more time you need. It’s more quality use of the time you already have.” - What is the tool or thing without which you could not imagine a day of work in your department?
In my case, the camera, but it is just an extension of arms – a thinking anchored in the present is a perfect working day. - Tell a funny memory with Klain!
I remember with pleasure and amusement the weekend spent at a chalet in the Apuseni Mountains with my colleagues from Klain, when I made the transition from being a photographer to being a chef. It was a pleasant and engaging experience. - If our team were a superhero, what would be our secret superpower?
