Account Manager, PPC Specialist and PhD in Communication Sciences. Who should it be? Larisa shares some of her secrets that help her excel in marketing, as well as certain aspects of her life at the Klain agency. Ready?

  1. Let’s start with the basics. What position do you have within the Klain team and how long have you been with us?
Within the team I am an Account Manager, but I started as an Online Marketer 6 years ago. They were great years in which I developed, I grew from all points of view and I learned exactly what I liked.

  2. How did your adventure with the Klain team begin?
That’s the part I like to tell the most about. I applied somewhere at the end of October for the position of Online Marketer. I was answered later than I expected, but I had the first interview on November 30th. After the first, the 2nd followed in December, the conclusion being that they start in January 😀 Obviously, I overlapped with the period when everyone sets their new goals, budgets for the current year, you know. That’s how I ended up signing the employment contract only on February 19. And since then, I’ve stayed, because I’m staying and it doesn’t get rid of me.

  3. How do you stay up to date with new trends and technologies in the field?
I read a lot, I test even more, and in the end, I always start over. 🙂

  4. How has your vision of digital marketing evolved over the years and how have you adapted to changes in the industry?
If in the beginning, business people opted for online marketing “to try something new”, now things have changed and it is an essential component in the business strategy. The biggest changes were felt with the transition of the activities carried out online, a period due to the pandemic context. It was, from my point of view, a necessary change, perhaps too forced and suddenly for many businesses that were not ready, but necessary.

  5. Tell us about an experience where you worked closely with other departments to successfully implement a campaign.
The most challenging part, from my experience so far, has been the collaboration with the design department, as well as the most creative. I think this aspect is due to the fact that you have to translate your personal idea into the words of another. I can’t name a single experience because each one is special in its own way, the concepts behind it being different every time. But just like I said, success is about bringing every idea to life.
  6. How do you approach defining and measuring the success of a marketing campaign? What are your key metrics?
Personally, I am very picky when it comes to the success of a campaign. Being a perfectionist, it’s a bit hard to settle for few results, especially in marketing. However, being a man of numbers (you already know how much I loved mathematics), I rely a lot on numbers. Thus, when it comes to PPC campaigns, I refer to the resulting conversions, leads, and so on, depending on the objective set from the beginning.

  7. What’s the most surprising and unexpected thing you’ve learned in your career so far?
That the hardest thing in this world is to work with people. 🙂

  8. How do you prioritize and manage your tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment like digital marketing?
The most important thing in life is precisely prioritization. When we talk about digital marketing, where things change from one day to the next, the secret is adaptation. What I do concretely, I allocate time intervals every day for meetings with clients, discussions with colleagues, solving tasks and obviously, learning and then, things work.

  9. What are your favorite methods to maintain your creativity?
I think it helps me a lot that I read, that I’m always connected to the online environment, to the trends that exist. Another advantage is the fact that I always put into practice what I learn and am dedicated to what I do. Creativity develops by doing things that take you out of your comfort zone, that challenge you and make you stand out. And I think that’s part of me, of who I am.

  10. What is the campaign or project you are most proud of and why?
Working for so many years in a team, there are many projects and campaigns dear to me, with great results. The project that differs by far is Klain15, carried out just last year. Why is it my favorite? Simple, I had the opportunity to make the video part – interviews with clients where we discussed the results generated and what the collaboration with them has meant so far. Connections were created, we laughed, joked and told very casually, leaving aside the numbers and objectives, summarizing a story and a coffee.

  11. What do you think will be the future of digital marketing and what elements will be essential?
Influencer marketing! With a return on investment of 1,000%, influencer marketing is the answer to what the future of online marketing means.

  12. How do you like to spend time outside of work and how do these activities influence your vision of marketing?
If I relate to work as to the job at Klain, I can say that my favorite activity outside of it is the Influencer Marketing course that I hold at the Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences at UBB. I like to read a lot, sit on the terrace and relax or listen to music, but also spend time at the gym or dancing. They are all creative activities, which always keep me updated and informed.

  13. What is the tool or thing without which you could not imagine a day of work in your department?
The 😀 laptop There were days when he refused to collaborate with me, and I had to urgently replace him with another one in order to meet my goals for the day and not confuse my colleagues.

  14. Tell a funny memory with Klain!
For 2-3 months I have been overschedule to complete some tasks. Being absorbed by them and their completion, I omitted to check the time, which is why it got quite dark. That wasn’t the problem, but the fact that my car was parked in the office yard, and the doors were locked by someone and I didn’t have a key. The solution was to leave my car at the office and get it back the next day. Luckily the small door was open and I managed to leave, otherwise the fence was only 2 meters. At least I learned one thing, I don’t stay working overtime ever from the office.

  15. If our team were a superhero, what would be our secret superpower?
We read thoughts. Very often it happens that we receive various requests that have nothing to do with the real problem faced by colleagues or even customers. So, our role is to identify exactly what everyone wants, so that we achieve the objectives set from the beginning.

  16. How would you like to see our team evolve and grow in the next 16 years?
I want as many creative people as possible in the team, eager to develop and always get out of their comfort zone.

With a career based on hard work, dedication and passion, it is evident that Larisa is an invaluable resource in our agency, bringing with her a passion for numbers, adaptability and a desire to always learn.
