What will marketing look like in the future? What are the priorities of a marketer in today’s world? How and where do we find our inspiration in the world of marketing? Bianca will answer all these questions and more today in this interview ready to reveal the Klain team, especially for the 16th anniversary!
- Let’s start with the basics. What position do you have within the Klain team and how long have you been with us?
Hello-hello! I hold the position of Junior Marketer, focusing on Social Media and Meta Ads. I’ve been in Klain for 1 year. - How did your adventure with the Klain team begin?
In an unforeseen way, I say. It all started with an internship organized by OSUBB, but after its completion I didn’t expect to receive a job offer. But here I am 🙂
- How do you stay up to date with new trends and technologies in the field?
I think my obsession with the phone and social networks (especially Instagram) helps me a lot in what I do. I follow a lot of pages about marketing and news in this field, many marketing people, I subscribe to many newsletters. I like to know that I have access to a multitude of resources. - How has your vision of digital marketing evolved over the years and how have you adapted to changes in the industry?
I realized that it is a much more complex field than I thought, and many do not realize how much work is behind it. I adapted to the changes in the industry over time, because at first it was a shock when I saw how quickly everything changes and how informed you have to be all the time to keep up with everything that happens. - Tell us about an experience where you worked closely with other departments to successfully implement a campaign.
We worked with the girls from the Social Media department, we got along super well, we were all very creative. We were on the same wavelength when it came to new ideas and the communication was efficient, which is why the campaign was successful. - How do you approach defining and measuring the success of a marketing campaign? What are your key metrics?
One of the most important things I think is the feedback received from the client and how many goals we have achieved from the ones we set ourselves at the beginning. And the next metrics would be leads, conversions. - What’s the most surprising and unexpected thing you’ve learned in your career so far?
That you can’t do everything in marketing and that you need to specialize in one field to be successful. - How do you prioritize and manage your tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment like digital marketing?
I’m lucky that I’m a pretty organized person. I usually plan all my tasks by day and used to write in my address book or on my phone, but since I implemented the Clickup platform in our activity, it makes my work much easier and I use a lot of everything it has when it comes to organizing tasks. - What are your favorite methods to maintain your creativity?
Brainstorming, I write in notes whenever I have a new idea for a campaign, for a reel, for a Social Media plan, whatever. I get inspired by the reels I see every day and think about what I could bring extra. And lately, I’ve started to read more, which helps me on the copywriting side. - What is the campaign or project you are most proud of and why?
The campaign where I had the opportunity to be Project Manager: Good Morning
SPFIt was a project very dear to me because I am passionate about everything related to skincare, skin care. It turned out very well and I’m proud of myself, because it wasn’t as easy as I thought and I really learned what the duties of a project manager are. - What do you think will be the future of digital marketing and what elements will be essential?
The world will get used to using many AI platforms, which seems normal to me, because they help us a lot in what we do, but I still don’t see them as good enough to “steal our job”. Probably more platforms like this will be launched both on the audio-video and copywriting side. But in principle it seems to me that things will remain pretty much the same. - How do you like to spend time outside of work and how do these activities influence your vision of marketing?
I teach dance sports to children, which helps me to have a more jovial view of things. As I said, I spend a lot of time on Instagram and it helps me a lot to stay up to date with trends in the marketing world. I also really like to discover AI platforms to help me in my work and different sites that are kind of tips and tricks. And I watch a lot of movies. I have a special section on my Instagram page where I post every movie I see and tell my close friends whether or not it’s worth watching. - What is the tool or thing without which you could not imagine a day of work in your department?
Most likely the laptop. :)) And the second thing is the mouse. I hate working without it. (Yes, I forgot it many times at home when I had to come to the office.) - Tell a funny memory with Klain!
A new coffee machine had just been purchased in the office and I was very happy that we had good coffee in the office. :)) And when I wanted to prepare one, the machine didn’t work. I checked if he has coffee beans, if he has water, if he is cleaned, everything. And it still didn’t work. And I remember panicking, thinking I had ruined it. :)) But in fact it was not cleaned properly. - If our team were a superhero, what would be our secret superpower?
Mind reading. (between colleagues)
- How would you like to see our team evolve and grow in the next 16 years?
The most important thing I would like to see is without but and maybe CREATIVITY and getting out of the comfort zone.
The 16 Klain stories continue next week with our team, so we are still waiting for you to discover each story and personality together.
