A new week, a new moment to discover the person behind the project. Creative, curious and full of ideas, Anca juggles texts and words with flexibility and adaptability. Always gravitating around activities that get his imagination moving, this copywriter is always looking for a creative medium to test new limits. Today we talk to Anca to see what her perspective is with the Klain agency, but also in her personal life.

  1. Let’s start with the basics. What position do you have within the Klain team and how long have you been with us?
Hello, I’m Anca Lența, copywriter/content writer for Klain. I joined the team almost two years ago, and since then I have been writing and creating various cool texts, campaigns and projects.

  2. How did your adventure with the Klain team begin?
Following a recommendation from a friend who had also joined the team and had only wonderful things to say about this team, I was invited to discuss the possibility of a collaboration. We clicked, and the rest is history!

  3. How do you stay up to date with new trends and technologies in the field?
I like to follow creative and relevant people in the field, as well as to test and experiment with my own tomorrows new discoveries or tools. I absorb any interesting information regardless of where it comes from, in order to reshape it and reuse it in another context and with another concept.

  4. How has your vision of digital marketing evolved over the years and how have you adapted to changes in the industry?
With the advancement of technology and essential marketing tools, I believe that we have evolved simultaneously. I think the way this field fluctuates and changes is also the element that keeps me hooked on it so ardently, because everything is constantly changing. From newspapers to TikTok, TV commercials and now on Youtube, the world is full of potential and new opportunities. And each challenge of this type is just a new adventure for me.

  5. Tell us about an experience where you worked closely with other departments to successfully implement a campaign.
In any campaign created, the people behind the project are the ones who conclude and outline a fluid and coherent vision. Regardless of the project I am working on, close collaboration with the other departments is crucial to complete it successfully. Everything has to align perfectly, from the image, text, budgets, to achieve our set goals. Everything is like a well-developed mechanism, and each component counts.

  6. How do you approach defining and measuring the success of a marketing campaign? What are your key metrics?
The reactions and interaction that the target audience has in relation to the texts created by me are a good indicator if the direction of the campaign is appropriate or needs to be adjusted. Every project comes with its set of goals, and achieving them is what guides me to see if I’m on the right track. Of course, peer opinions and coffee break advice are just as important, so we always discuss when we want to see different perspectives.

  7. What’s the most surprising and unexpected thing you’ve learned in your career so far?
A concept that may seem clearly defined and appropriate to you can be totally wrong for a certain type of project. Adapting to the customer’s needs and requirements plays a crucial role, and this direction must be maintained and corrected at every step.

  8. How do you prioritize and manage your tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment like digital marketing?
I try to create a top of priorities for the next day or period, in order to be able to analyze which are the tasks that need to be solved as quickly as possible, depending on their degree of urgency. Using an app like ClickUp, I can communicate clearly and openly with the rest of the team to ask for additional information and adapt to others’ schedules.

  9. What are your favorite methods to maintain your creativity?
Creativity is an infinite source for me, which can come in various forms or contexts. Maybe a key phrase catches my attention when I read or when I play something on the computer, and in the future I will incorporate it and turn it into a text that can be used in the projects I am working on. In my free time I like to play Dungeons & Dragons where I am Dungeon Master, and, basically, this role is that of a storyteller who creates fiction, interactions and everything related to an interactive and unique game. I think this way I can polish my skills and stimulate my imagination without barriers, like an intense brainstorming about anything and anyone!

  10. What is the campaign or project you are most proud of and why?
Each successfully completed campaign preserves a part of me and implicitly makes me proud. Maybe not all projects will be an easy topic to approach, but it is precisely this fact that will make me ambitious to discover new information and adapt to the field.

That said, if you want to find out what it’s like to be a bricklayer or what exercises are suitable for your muscles, I’m your girl!

  11. What do you think will be the future of digital marketing and what elements will be essential?
AI tools like ChatGpt will certainly advance and niche themselves in various areas of interest, but I believe that the human side will always be indispensable no matter the moment. Some things remain classic for a reason, and a specialist will always be a priority in the field of marketing.

  12. How do you like to spend time outside of work and how do these activities influence your vision of marketing?
Probably among the most influential activities in my development as a person: video games and everything related to them, they are the ones that have strongly influenced me in my daily life. I believe that they are an excellent environment to build a rich narrative thread that involves the person directly in the action, decisions and consequences. This is where my passion for cosplay (costume play) developed, where I create costumes from various movies, games or anything in between. Anything that involves a creative process where I can test new skills and put my imagination into action is a perfect activity, and this is also reflected in my approach to writing in the area related to work and marketing.

  13. What is the tool or thing without which you could not imagine a day of work in your department?
My pink Razer headphones, which accompany me at all times. That’s plus a perfect track in the background, to guide my fingers to type faster and with more creativity.

  14. Tell a funny memory with Klain!
Recently we were all at a teambuilding (almost) and we had a moment when we enjoyed a small activity that included painting. Each of us had one minute to paint, in a single color, the portrait of the colleague on his right. Once the time was ready, we had to pass on the drawing so that the next person could continue the work. The results were… unique, to say the least.

  15. If our team were a superhero, what would be our secret superpower?
I think our secret superpower would include teleportation or the ability to be in many places at once, because each department does a part, and then we coagulate everything into a flawless project. We are always involved and dedicated when it comes to the customer and we always find a solution, no matter the challenge.

  16. How would you like to see our team evolve and grow in the next 16 years?
I wish that the next 16 years will catch us as full of personality and creativity, with projects that will delight us and a super cool decorated office!

A new interview successfully concluded, a new week that awaits us to find out the stories of the people who build the Klain agency team. Keep an eye on us, and 16 Klain stories continues!
