Behind each project there is a personality full of stories. This week we talk to Ada, content writer and fashion icon at Klain agency. By letting her charisma and creativity permeate all the campaigns she has made, she finds inspiration in her daily life, easily transforming it into memorable and impactful content. Always ready for a new adventure and a new location to explore, Ada tells us today all about how her experience with our team began and how her trajectory evolved. Let’s get started!
- Let’s start with the basics. What position do you have within the Klain team and how long have you been with us?
I joined the Klain team, exactly one year ago, in September 2022. Since then, I’ve been part of the marketing team and I’m in charge of Social Media, Copywriting and Content Writing. - How did your adventure with the Klain team begin?
My adventure with Klain begins with my desperation to find a place to practice in my first year of college. I didn’t know exactly which field to choose and I didn’t really know what digital marketing was all about. All I knew was that I urgently needed to find an internship that focused on online.
I still had a few days when I could find a place where I could do the 120 hours required in the digital field and I said to try my luck by sending emails to the agents in Cluj. I googled “marketing agencies in Cluj” and contacted the first 5 agencies that appeared to me, but I had no hope that any of them would answer me. Klain was the only agency that gave me an answer and that’s how I ended up taking part in the internship organized in 2022. When I started the internship, all I was interested in was receiving my certificate at the end, but along the way I realized that everything that was discussed during the internship suits me very well and made me more and more curious about this field. - How do you stay up to date with new trends and technologies in the field?
Most of the information about the marketing field comes from TikTok and Instagram. There are a lot of pages that create interesting and super engaging content, from which you can really learn a lot of things and get interesting information. There are also a few blogs that I read once in a while, but I am also part of a Facebook group, which is called the “Social Media Community”, where relevant and very interesting information is posted daily.
- How has your vision of digital marketing evolved over the years and how have you adapted to changes in the industry?
Having 1 year of experience in the field, I can’t say that there have been significant changes that I have to get used to completely. Indeed, this is an area full of changes from one day to the next, but this does not bother me, being a person who gets bored quite quickly and who does not like monotony. The most radical change I felt this year was the emergence of ChatGPT, which at first scared me a little, but after learning how to use it in an effective way, it offers me many benefits. - Tell us about an experience where you worked closely with other departments to successfully implement a campaign.
All successful campaigns within the agency took place due to the fact that several people were involved in their implementation. It is very interesting to see how everyone has different ideas, and in order to be successful in a campaign, it is important to consider everyone’s ideas, even those who are not part of the marketing department. - How do you approach defining and measuring the success of a marketing campaign? What are your key metrics?
I believe that this field is defined by creativity. A more different and creative campaign will always be successful, but the most important thing is to have clearly defined objectives and try to aim to achieve them, through the most interesting methods. - What’s the most surprising and unexpected thing you’ve learned in your career so far?
When I started working in this field, what surprised me the most was the fact that such simple things, such as posting on social media or creating a text of a few lines, have so many rules. I was surprised by the small details that a copywriter must take into account and the way in which a simple word can totally change the perception of a text. - How do you prioritize and manage your tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment like digital marketing?
Adaptability and flexibility are the main aspects to take into account in this area. From my point of view, we must prioritize the knowledge of new information and accept that with the passage of time this field will develop more and more, and especially as marketers we must always be attentive to this development. - What are your favorite methods to maintain your creativity?
They read books, articles, blogs, and watch content on various topics. This exposes me to new ideas and perspectives, which can fuel my creativity. Moreover, collaborating with colleagues in brainstorming sessions helps me a lot in generating new ideas and solutions. The different perspectives of the team members stimulate my creativity. - What is the campaign or project you are most proud of and why?
In general, I am proud of all my projects. I like the most to notice a significant increase in my way of working and the changes I make for certain tasks, which improve my work. However, if I had to name a single project, it would be BunăDimineața.ro. This blog was my first “client” that I have been working for since my internship. I believe that through this client you can best see my evolution, for more than a year I have been constantly working for this blog to grow more and more. - What do you think will be the future of digital marketing and what elements will be essential?
I think it’s clear that images are starting to lose their relevance more and more, and short videos are taking over social media platforms. I am convinced that new social networks will appear and I think that in a few years people will no longer use social media so much to share beautiful images for friends, but these platforms will be increasingly “invaded” by businesses to promote themselves. - How do you like to spend time outside of work and how do these activities influence your vision of marketing?
Most of all, I like to travel, walk and go shopping alone. Since I started working in this field, I started to pay more and more attention to the ads around me and the texts that are used in certain campaigns. Everywhere I go, I pay attention to billboards or advertisements that appear to me, and if I notice something I like, I write it down, thinking that those notes will be sources of inspiration for me someday. - What is the tool or thing without which you could not imagine a day of work in your department?
I think content advance scheduling platforms are life savers, and I find them to be some of the most effective tools in the social media space. - Tell a funny memory with Klain!
We certainly have a lot of fun moments, especially when we organize team buildings. In the last team building, I think I had the most fun moments, but one of the activities I had the most fun was when I danced salsa. Even though our colleagues Bianca and Larisa are very good at dancing, I was very amused how we, the rest of the team, struggled to do the dance moves as correctly as possible and not to look like we had two left legs. - If our team were a superhero, what would be our secret superpower?
We could boast of “interesting ideas at all times”. All the time when we put our minds to work and try to come up with ideas for certain campaigns or projects, through teamwork we get to very interesting and exciting topics. - How would you like to see our team evolve and grow in the next 16 years?
The evolution and growth of the team over the next 16 years can be visualized in several ways. I would most like an international expansion, the team to be enlarged and made up only of specialists. I hope that in the coming years, the projects will be more and more complex and as famous as possible, and through the constant delivery of quality results, the Klain agency will gain a solid reputation in the industry and be recognized as a leader in the field of digital marketing.
Because every story deserves its moment to be carefully discovered and deepened, stay with us next week to discover a new side of the Klain team members!
