In Romania, Facebook is used by over 8 million Romanians. Almost half of the country’s population has an account on the famous social network, and this is one of the most important reasons why your business should have an active page to keep in touch with users. And if that doesn’t convince you either, we offer you 10 more reasons to be present on Facebook.

  1. Exposure to potential customers

Surely you already have a base of loyal customers who shop from you or use the services offered by your company. But why not have new customers who haven’t heard of you or who for some reason haven’t turned to you? Facebook is an easy way to reach new users who could benefit from your services and increase your revenue.

  1. Reduced marketing costs

I’m not saying that Facebook doesn’t cost anything, but setting up a business page doesn’t cost anything, as well as posting certain photos or links. You need to invest in a professional profile picture and photo cover, taken by a designer, and a person who is good at online communication. If you want to do all this yourself, make sure you know how Facebook works and how to communicate on social networks. The costs so far are close to 0, they only rise when you start paying for advertising on the platform, and even then it will be cheaper than traditional advertising.

  1. Communication to a targeted audience

Even though there are 8 million users on Facebook in Romania, not all of them will like your page, and the large number of likes is not an advantage. In order to have good results online, you need to address those people who are interested in your business and who can be classified as potential customers.

  1. Real-time statistical data

Facebook Insight is a highly effective tool for any marketer and business. It gives you statistical data about the people who gave you likes, demographics, page evolution, page interaction, post impact, visits, and many other interesting data. Use them to your advantage.

  1. Targeted traffic to the site

The purpose of Facebook for business is not only to entertain the public, but to attract traffic to the site, implicitly increasing sales. Use this effective communication channel and draw attention to yourself in a natural way. But in order to send users to your site, you need to have a well-thought-out strategy that combines the original goals.

  1. Humanizing the company

Social networks have a well-defined purpose: to socialize. Remember that not everything you do on Facebook has to generate sales. These will come naturally if your fans gain confidence in you and see in you an answer to their needs. And to grow a relationship , you need to make your business known to them behind the screen. Talk to them, interact through posts, respond to messages and post pictures of the team and the activities you do. Show them that you care about them.

  1. Increasing community and interaction

A community is stronger together, and a loyal community can give you a promotion that you can’t buy with money. Constantly interact, organize contests, ask for opinions, activate the reviews section, offer different incentives, ask questions and provide information that is relevant to your target audience.

  1. SEO

Facebook can be a good way to increase your presence on search engines. You will see that if you search for certain businesses on Google, among the first results you will also find their Facebook page. Once you enter here, it will be easy for your customers and potential customers to read reviews, see useful information about your company and access the website.

  1. Competitors

Surely, most of your competitors have a Facebook page. I’m not saying to spy all day on what they do and how they do it, but you can always analyze their page, see what they do better than you and how you can become better than them.

  1. Brand awareness

An important thing that you should not forget is that your fans, that is, those who have liked your page, have friends, some hundreds, others thousands. Your posts can reach thousands of people if users interact on the page, share, comment or click the Like button. So, they create interesting posts and communicate information of interest so that they can be shared.

There are many more reasons, but these are among the most important. Don’t let such an effective communication channel slip through your fingers.
